<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical stereoscopic still image imaging system using a simple construction. <P>SOLUTION: The system comprises image generation means for generating an L image and an R image being two image signals imaged corresponding to viewpoints of left (L) and right (R) eyes concerning an object 1; an identification information generation means for generating identification information, information indicative of the discriminative storage state of both the L and R images; and a digital recording means for recording, after image compressing the two image signals of L and R, all of the compressed image and the identification information in the form of one digital image file, incorporating the foregoing two image signals as main data and the identification as associated data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
