CELL PRESERVATION LIQUID AND CELL PRESERVATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cell preservation liquid in which cells are kept in a freezer for a long period of time and when a person receives the cells and offers the cells after thawing to another person, the cells substantially have difficulty in reculture and can not be sold to an unspecified number of persons and to provide a cell preservation method using the same.

SOLUTION: The cell preservation liquid comprises dimethyl sulfoxide as a cryoprotective agent and a buffer for pH regulation and has pH≥2.5 and <6. The concentration of dimethyl sulfoxide in the cell preservation liquid is preferably 1-50 vol.%.
