PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasket improved to prevent a surface of a mate part from being damaged and prevent facial pressure from becoming nonuniform and to provide revising method and means for the gasket for coping with the fault. SOLUTION: A plate member formed part 6 composed of a plane part 6a coming into contact with one face of a gasket main body 2 and a cylindrical part 6b fitted into the inner periphery of a hole part B is inserted into the hole part B, diameter of an end face of the cylindrical part 6b is expanded in a tip opened shape, and the end face of the cylindrical part 6b is pressed and is pressed on the other face side of the gasket main body 2 to form the grommet 5.
