摘要 A carbon-coated composite is provided to obtain nano-sized active material particles having improved electroconductivity and ion conductivity and imparting excellent high-rate discharge characteristics and near-theoretical capacity to a lithium secondary battery. A carbon-coated LixA1-xFeyB1-y(PO4)zC1-z composite is obtained by subjecting LixA1-xFeyB1-y(PO4)zC1-z particles to carbon coating by using a carbon precursor having both hydrophobicity and hydrophilicity, wherein 0<x<=1, 0<=y<=1, 0<=z<=1, A is at least one element selected from alkali metal and alkaline earth metal elements, B is at least one transition metal element, and C is at least one anion. The carbon precursor is at least one material selected from the group consisting of fatty acids, alcohol derivatives of the fatty acids and surfactants.
