PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a modified ss DNA having excellent sequence selectivity and useful for gene therapy, etc.

SOLUTION: The modified ss DNA oligomer is incorporated with an MBG polyamide hybrid compound represented by 2'-deoxyguanosine containing a pyrrole amide tetramer. The modified DNA oligomer bonded to the MBG polyamide hybrid compound has high recognition ability to a complementary DNA containing a pyrrole amide adaptation site from a circular dichroism (CD) spectrum and a melting temperature (Tm) analysis.
