PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery in which high temperature characteristics and low temperature characteristics can be improved even if battery voltage is set high. SOLUTION: A positive electrode 21 and a negative electrode 22 are laminated via a separator 23 and an electrolyte layer 24. An open circuit voltage in full charge is in a range of 4.25 V or more and 4.50 V or less. The electrolyte layer 24 contains a polymer containing an electrolytic solution and vinylidene fluoride as components and becomes to show a gel state. Diethyl carbonate is contained in the electrolytic solution within a range of 15 wt.% or more and 35 wt.% or less.
