<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game server capable of adjusting a currency amount in a game space and suppressing the fluctuation of a currency value, a control method of the game server and a program. <P>SOLUTION: When an item extraction part 54a refers to a transaction history and extracts one item ID, a commodity price index calculation part 54b calculates the average value of a part or all of transaction established price data related to the item ID. Then, reference transaction established price data related to the item ID are acquired from a reference transaction established price data storage part 58, and commodity price index data are generated on the basis of the reference transaction established price data and the average value.
