PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latch which easily locks one or two or more objects connected together, by means of a pad lock, and is producible at a low cost. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the latch 7 for the pad lock, a pair of latch pieces 71a, 71b which are bent in mutually opposite directions at about the midpoint, are rotatably pivoted near the midpoint, and they have locking holes 75 formed in rear ends 74 thereof, respectively. After inserting front ends 73 of the latch pieces 71a, 71b into through holes 41, 31 formed in the objects whose movements is to be contstrained, with front ends 73 thereof being aligned with each other, by superposing the rear ends 74 of the latch pieces 71a, 71b on each other, and hooking the pad lock 6 into the locking holes 75 aligned with each other, the front ends 73 are expanded in a V shape, and therefore they cannot slip out of the through holes 41, 31, to thereby connect and lock both the objects to each other.
