A cookware handle is provided to enhance the strength, endurance and thermal resistance by comprising a metal insert and a phenolic over-mold. A cookware handle(12) comprises a metal insert(14) and a phenolic over-mold(16). The metal insert includes an attachment unit for attaching the handle to a cookware. The phenolic over-mold is formed by molding a phenolic material over the insert, including the attachment unit. |
