<p>A power supply apparatus in which a DC voltage is boosted by switching. The power supply apparatus enables the use of a high pressure-resistant component suppresses and avoids upsizing and cost increase of the apparatus resulting from the use of a special-purpose product such as a high pressure-resistant component. First and second boost circuits have input capacitors (C1, C2), reactors (L1, L2), diodes (D1, D2), switch devices (S1, S2), and output capacitors (C3, C4) and are configured in the shape of positive and negative symmetry. The reactors (L1, L2) are magnetically coupled. With the configuration, the switch devices (S1, S2) are simultaneously subjected to an on-off control on the basis of the voltages across the respective terminals of the input capacitors (C1, C2) and output capacitors (C3, C4).</p> |
