<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which allows double-sided printing, and which can reduce the toner consumption amount by decreasing the size of a developer image on a second page as compared with the size of a developer image printed on a first page in margin-less printing. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus forms a developer image whose size is larger than that of a recording material when images are to be formed on the recording material without margin. In the image forming apparatus, when the images are to be formed on both sides of the recording material without margin, the size of the developer image on the second page of the recording material is set smaller than that of the developer image on the first page of the recording material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
