PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner which is excellent in charging performance and can form an image having a high image density, to provide a manufacturing method of the toner, and to provide an image forming method using the toner. SOLUTION: Toner raw material which contains a conductive colorant such as carbon black with a content of 6.0 to 8.0 wt.% is kneaded by an open roller type kneader 1 and the obtained kneaded material is granulated to produce toner particles. Thereby, a black toner is obtained in such a manner that the content of the conductive colorant is 6.0 to 8.0 wt.% of whole quantity of the toner particle and the electrical resistivity in environment of temperature 25°C and relative humidity 50% is 1.50×10<SP>11</SP>to 3.00×10<SP>11</SP>Ωcm. By using the black toner, the image is formed such that the image density on a recording medium becomes at least 1.40, wherein a deposition amount of the toner to the recording medium is set to be 0.40 to 0.50 mg/cm<SP>2</SP>.
