PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device of simple configuration for an image forming device, having a paper-twining prevention mechanism, capable of avoiding damaging a heating roller or attaching black points on paper by the toner that adheres to the tip of the paper-twining prevention means. SOLUTION: The heating roller 8 of a fixing device having the heating roller 8, by which the paper to which a toner image is transferred, is heated so as to fix the image and is equipped with: a plurality of disk-like separating means 1 which are formed into the shape of a disk, of which peripheral portions abut against the heating roller 8, which are rotatably held by the frame 10 of the fixing device, and prevents paper from twining around the heating roller 8; and a rotation means which makes the plurality of the disk-like separating means 1 synchronize and rotate, when the heating roller 8 is not rotating; wherein the disk-like separating means 1 can prevent paper from twining around the heating roller 8.
