PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety against abnormal drive of an electromagnetic relay, and to stabilize an armature. SOLUTION: This electromagnetic relay is structured such that a coil bobbin 32 is formed of a material having higher heat resistance than that of an insulating coating of a winding conductor of a coil 30; and a base 41 for mounting the coil 30 thereon is formed of a material having lower heat resistance than that of the insulating coating, whereby firing is prevented from being caused by abnormal drive of the electromagnetic relay.
