PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the number of parts and to save on space with simple constitution, and to protect a protection object by evading previously a dew condensation state to be caused by rise of temperature. SOLUTION: The device has: a prescribed property detecting sensor which has basic property measuring part measuring a value of the prescribed property, and a temperature measuring part, corrects a property value measured by the basic property measuring part by the temperature measured by the temperature measuring part and outputs it, while outputting the measured temperature of the temperature measuring part to the outside; a first protecting means for protecting a first protection object, based on the property value from the prescribed property detecting sensor; a dew condensation prediction means predicting occurrence of a dew condensation state based on temperature measured by the temperature measuring part when the power supply of the device is turned on, and a second protecting means putting off start of the first protection object or a second protection object being different from the first protection object when this dew condensation prediction means predicts occurrence of the dew condensation state.
