摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct eccentricity by reproducing eccentricity correction data recorded by a recoding head from a perpendicular magnetic recording medium where servo information is recorded beforehand by magnetic transfer for applying magnetization in an inner surface direction, regarding an eccentricity correction method, a signal processing circuit, a magnetic storage device, and the perpendicular magnetic recording medium. SOLUTION: Information is reproduced, by a reproduction head, from the perpendicular magnetic recording medium where servo information, eccentricity correction method, and read/write data are recorded, and among the reproduction outputs of the reproduction head, the servo information having a differential waveform is filtered based on nondifferential filter characteristics, and the eccentricity correction data and the read/write data having a rectangular waveform are filtered based on differential filter characteristics. The filtered servo information and the filtered eccentricity corrected data and read/write data are demodulated, the demodulated servo information and eccentricity corrected data are outputted to a servo system for executing a control process, and the demodulated read/write data are outputted to a data processing system.
