An adapter for a tire running tester is provided to preclude a tire from being shaken and vibrated while conducting the tire running test, and to enhance the accuracy of the test by controlling a diameter formed by projections through a plurality of variable sliders. An adapter for a tire running tester comprises an adapter body(150), and a plurality of variable sliders(160). The adapter body has a plurality of holes(152) to fasten a wheel to the tester. The variable sliders are mounted on one surface of the adapter body to move back and forth radially, and formed with projections(161) contacted with inner peripheral surfaces of wheel bolt holes to support the wheel. The projections are bent outwardly. The variable sliders are radially installed with the same interval to control the diameter formed by the projections. The number of the variable sliders are 2 to 6.
