<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means capable of improving heat resistance of a separator without degrading volume energy density of a battery, in a lithium ion secondary battery. <P>SOLUTION: This battery has at least one electric cell layer composed by stacking a positive electrode composed by forming a positive electrode active material layer containing a positive electrode active material on a surface of a collector, an electrolyte layer containing an electrolyte, and a negative electrode composed by forming a negative electrode active material layer containing a negative electrode active material on a surface of a collector in that order.
