PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat transfer pipe for a heat exchanger improved in the reliability of a brazed surface and having excellent heat transfer performance by forming a uniform brazed surface in inserting a corrugated fin by brazing to the inner peripheral surface of a flat pipe. SOLUTION: In this heat transfer pipe for the heat exchanger formed by inserting the corrugated fin to the inner peripheral surface, the inner peripheral surface of the heat transfer pipe or the upper or lower top face in the corrugated fin in contact with the inner peripheral surface, or both of them are roughened, and the roughened parts are joined to each other by brazing.
