Flame-retardant plastics mouldings composed of polyphenyl sulphones (PPSUs) or of polycarbonates (PCs) are coloured with Iridoin(R) pigments in such a way as to have a metallic effect. The effect is resistant to the usual stresses present in an aircraft cabin and complies with the respective fire-protection requirements.
