PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly transfer guidance to destinations from a vehicle-mounted navigation system to a cellular phone. SOLUTION: The vehicle-mounted navigation system for performing route guidance from a starting location to a destination is provided with both a communication means 3 for transmitting information to a cellular phone K and a determination transmitting means 14 for detecting the halting of an engine within a prescribed distance range from the destination in the case that it happens and transmitting prescribed geographic information, which is available for guidance to the destination through the use of the cellular phone K, to the prescribed cellular phone K by the communication means 3.
