PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve concentricity between the outer circumference of a rotor and the inner circumference of magnetic pole teeth in a stator, and reduce vibration and noise in a rotating electric machine for employing a divided stator iron core. SOLUTION: The stator is formed by dividing a cylindrical yoke and a plurality of the magnetic pole teeth protruded from the interior of the yoke toward the rotor. The divided and formed yoke and the magnetic pole teeth are coupled by a fitting mechanism. The magnetic pole teeth are formed so as have axial lengths longer than the yoke and both end faces protruded from the yoke. The stator is wholly supported and fixed to a housing by fixing the protruded and formed portion to the housing. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
