<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce low frequency air distribution noise caused by rotation of an air blower in an air conditioner. <P>SOLUTION: In this air conditioner where a heat exchanger 5 and the air blower 1 are received in a housing 9, and the air exchanging heat in the heat exchanger 5 is supplied from the housing 9 by the air blower 1, at least one resonance type silencer 2 arousing resonance to specific frequency of noise caused by rotation of rotary blades 4 constituting the air blower 1, is disposed at a suction-side, a supply-side or both of the suction side and supply side of the air blower 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
