<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust an anchor position according to a seating height of an occupant and allow displacement of the anchor position to a lower side in case of collision of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The height of a slide part 66 can be adjusted by operating an adjuster of the slide part 66 in a seat belt device 10. Consequently, the height of the anchor position 88 can be adjusted according to the seating height of the occupant. An inflator is operated in the front collision of a vehicle 12, the slide part 66 is slid to the lower side, and the anchor position 88 is displaced to the lower side. A handling path of the seat belt 26 is lengthened, the seat belt 26 is pulled in a feeding port 86 side, and a pretensioner effect can be obtained thereby. Since the load is actuated on the upper surface of the occupant from the seat belt 26 when the upper half body of the occupant is incliningly moved to the front side of the vehicle, a burden by the seat belt 26 on the front surface of a chest region of the occupant can be reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
