<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the control of the welding depth in the irradiated part of laser light. <P>SOLUTION: In the laser welding method where the body W to be welded is subjected to welding by the cooperation between laser light L emitted to the body W to be welded and an active gas-containing assist gas G injected toward the irradiated part S of the laser light L by a gas feed nozzle 3, by narrowing the inclination angle of the gas feed nozzle 3 to the light axis LS of the laser light L, the welding depth in the irradiated part S is made deep, and by widening the inclination angle of the gas feed nozzle 3 to the light axis LS, the welding depth in the irradiated part S is made shallow. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
