<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compose a group hierarchy that users who belong to an upper organization can access and ACL changes are not required when an organization is changed if access rights to a file server in a company are controlled using an ACL. <P>SOLUTION: An organizational hierarchy definition system has a directory server provided with a directory service database, and a management server which communicates with the directory server using LDAP. The management server defines an organizational hierarchy using GUI, and registers a group hierarchy, the direction of which is reverse to the organizational hierarchy, into the directory service database. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
