<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a service providing system and a service providing method, for providing information desired by a manufacturer and a retailer (for example, a shop) to a purchaser of an article. <P>SOLUTION: A shop terminal 2 records an article ID of a purchased article and a shop ID of a shop which sold the article in an RFID card 1.
