<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of further surely or further efficiently raising the temperature of an exhaust emission control device, in PM regenerating processing of the exhaust emission control device. <P>SOLUTION: The outside air temperature of a vehicle mounted with an internal combustion engine is acquired by using an outside air temperature sensor (S103). The acquired outside air temperature is compared with the limit outside air temperature being a minimum value of the temperature suitable for the PM regenerating processing of the exhaust emission control device (S104). The performance of the PM regenerating processing is prohibited when the outside air temperature is the limit outside temperature or less. Thus, the PM regenerating processing is preferentially performed in a state capable of further efficiently or further surely oxidizing and removing particulate mater of the exhaust emission control device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
