PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning blade for an image forming apparatus, whose roughness and straightness of the ridge line are small and cleaning performance is excellent by restraining occurrence of excessive stress of a cutting blade and friction between a rubber sheet and the cutting blade when cutting the ridge line of the cleaning blade which is brought into contact with a photoreceptor by the use of the cutting blade. SOLUTION: A sheet formed from a resin composition constituted of a thermoplastic elastomer is cut while applying tension to generate 0.01≤tensile distortion (mm)≤1.0 or/and 0.01≤tensile stress (MPa)≤5.0. Thus, the cleaning blade for the image forming apparatus is manufactured. The roughness of the edge line of the cleaning blade for the image forming apparatus is 10μm or less and the straightness of the edge line is 100μm or less. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
