PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a showcase which can apply illumination with a proper illuminance and achieve proper cooling control according to inside cooling load even if it is attached with different kinds of illuminating devices. SOLUTION: The showcase 1 including a cooling device which cools the inside of a showroom 11 and illuminating lamps 36 or the like, includes an illumination kind setting switch 25 which establishes the kind of the illuminating lamp 36 or the like and a control device 20 which controls the cooling device and the illuminating lamps 36 or the like, wherein the control device 20 changes the control of the cooling device according to the kind of the illuminating lamps 36 or the like set by the illumination kind setting switch 25.
