PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of shortening an ice making time by efficiently cooling an ice making tray of an automatic ice making machine. SOLUTION: This refrigerator comprising the automatic ice making machine 1 supplying the water into the ice tray 7 for cooling the same, comprises a cold air duct 17 for ice making disposed near the ice tray 7 for discharging the cold air, and the cold air duct 17 for ice making is retracted to the outside of a range of reversing motion in reversing motion of the ice making tray 7. Further the ice making tray 7 has a plurality (eight) of recessed ice making partitions 12, and vent holes 14 are respectively formed on walls 13 connecting the ice making partitions 12 adjacent to each other.
