PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and accurately adjust the start position of a carburetor device for an internal combustion engine and use the device for multiple purposes. SOLUTION: This carburetor device for the internal combustion engine comprises an intake passage portion 3 in which a throttle element and a choke element are rotatably supported around rotating axes 34, 35 and a start device having an operating position, a non-operating position, and at least one start position. The start device sets the predetermined positions of the throttle element and the choke element at the start position. The start device comprises an operating lever 29 and an intermediate lever 18 for operating the start device. The rotating axis 28 of the operating lever 29 and the rotating axis 37 of an intermediate lever 18 has an interval therebetween at least at the height of the intermediate lever 18.
