In the case of an electrical plug-type connection system having first electrical plug-type connection elements and a second electrical plug-type connection element which is complementary thereto, having an associated first and a second housing, and having a number of contact elements which corresponds to the number of wires in one housing and a corresponding number of mating contact elements in the other housing, having an electrical plug-type connection, which can be produced and detached again by a relative movement of the two housings, between the contact elements and their respective mating contact elements, and having a latching connection, which can be produced and released again between the two housings, provision is made according to the invention of a two-stage operative mechanism, in which, during the relative movement of the two housings, in a first stage latching of the two housings essentially without contact being provided between the contact elements and their respective mating contact elements takes place and in which, during the transition into an end position, as a second stage, the actual contact-making between the contact elements and their respective mating contact elements takes place with an increase in the contact force which is dependent on the position. |
