The device has a housing body (4), and a tool chuck (8) comprising a manually operatable locking and releasing mechanism (10) for mounting and/or releasing the chuck at a drive screw (6). A coupling device (19) provides a rotation coupling between the drive screw and the chuck, and an overload clutch is provided for limiting a back torque. The overload clutch is mounted at the chuck in the outer side of the housing body, where the rotation coupling disengages during exceeding of a non-variable torque. An independent claim is also included for a tool chuck for a boring tool device.
