Described is a method of transmitting management information in a telecommunication network from a first network apparatus to a second network apparatus of the telecommunication network, the method comprising: generating, at the first network apparatus an encoded management message comprising at least one executable instruction, wherein the at least one executable instruction results in the management information when executed: transmitting the encoded management message from the first network apparatus to the second network apparatus; recovering the management information, at the second network apparatus, by executing the at least one executable instruction comprised in the encoded management message. The method allows to reduce the amount of information exchanged.
