<p>In the production of sausages, sausage meat is injected into a tubular skin (104) that is then closed by a scissor-action sealing assembly (1) and clip. The closing action is regulated by a cam (10, 14) and associated levers (12, 13, 17, 18) pivoting on a shaft (5) or axle within a housing. The lever, shaft and/or axle longitudinal mechanical play is limited by an adjustable spindle thread locknut bush (27, 28, 29). The locknut bush is located near the spindle end. The bush is hand-adjustable.</p> |
