A pillar ball bush is provided to prevent inflow of foreign materials from outside and to prevent a dust cover from being damaged in a caulking operation. A pillow ball bush comprises a hollow ball stud pillow(1), a case, a plastic bearing(6), a hollow insert ring(5), and a dust cover(7). The hollow ball stud pillow is formed with a ball stud(1a) at the center portion. The case includes an outer pipe(2) forming an exterior, an inner case(4) supporting the ball stud of the hollow ball stud pillow, and a mass(3) cured and stuck to an outer surface of the inner case from the outer pipe. The plastic bearing is placed on a bearing contact surface(4b) forming an inner surface of the inner case to cover and support the ball stud of the ball stud pillow and to be rotated smoothly. The insert ring includes a body(5a) inserted into a stepped portion(4c) forming one end of the inner case to pressurize a side surface of the plastic bearing, and a fixing boss(5b) with a smaller diameter than the body. One end of the dust cover is fixed at both rear end portions of the ball stud pillow by a protruding end(1b), and the other end of the dust cover is fixed to the fixing boss of the insert ring inserted into one side of the inner case by a steel ring(8), and to the projected bearing contact surface forming an opposite side of the stepped portion of the inner case. |
