A HAIR CONDITIONING COMPOSITION

A hair conditioning composition is provided to improve combing feeling of wet or dried hair, enhance softness and gloss of hair, and prevent build-up effects which result in accumulation of silicone and oil components on the hair caused by repeated use of the composition. A hair conditioning composition comprises 0.01-5.0 wt.% of aminoalkyl dimethicone represented by the formula(1) and 0.01-3.0 wt.% of dialkyl carbonate represented by the formula(2), wherein R is alkyl group represented by the general formula of CnH2n; n is an integer from 1 to 10; x and y are the integer; ratio of x to y is 1:1 to 1:500; R1 and R2 are each independently C1-C18 linear or branched alkyl group; the aminoalkyl dimethicone is an oil-in-water emulsion type; and the composition is formulated as hair rinse, hair cream, hair ampoule or hair treatment.
