An apparatus for shaping and attaching free design spangles is provided to form freely various types of spangle patterns using only one a punching mold, by changeably constituting formation pins of a punching plate. A fabric transfer unit carries a fabric(19) below an elevating plate(32). A film transfer unit carries a molding film(29) below the elevating plate while the molding film is positioned on the fabric. A punching plate(36) reciprocates upwardly and downwardly above the fabric and the film. The punching plate has a plurality of vertical holes and a plurality of horizontal holes across the vertical holes. A plurality of formation pins(33) are respectively inserted into the vertical holes of the punching plate, and movable within the vertical holes. A plurality of air cylinders(112) are respectively joined to the horizontal holes of the punching plate. A plurality of hammers are operated forwardly and backwardly within the horizontal holes of the punching plate by on-off operation of the air cylinders, thereby closing or opening the vertical holes of the punching plate. A cut plate(35) is positioned between the film and the fabric, wherein the cut plate has a plurality of cut holes corresponding to positions and sizes of the formation pins. A supporting unit supports the formation pins below the fabric when the formation pins are punched.
