The chassis (1) has concave locations (11) at its corners for receiving respective feet of a container (6) so as to center and immobilize the feet of the container. Rollers (5) are provided at a lower front part and a lower rear part of the chassis and move the chassis and the container on a lorry, trailer or berth. Lower crosspieces are arranged such that a fork truck moves the chassis and the container.
