A conduit, typically a downpipe 10, is fastened to a structure (typically a building wall, not shown) via a securement 100 which is concealed by the downpipe after installation. The downpipe and securement have interengaging respective tracks and inwardly directed collinear engaging portions which are stated to be advantageous in installations on weatherboard having an angled surface relative to the longitudinal axis of the conduit.
