A surface treatment equipment, a conveying hanger, and a conveying method of the conveying hanger are provided to improve productivity by shortening the lifting and lowering cycle of a liftable and lowerable guide rail. A conveying hanger(15) comprises: a pair of treatment object holding arms(46) which have treatment object holding means for gripping a treatment object(W), and are slidably installed to adjust the length of a hanger width; a sliding member(35) slidably contacting a guide rail(11); and a connecting member(44) for connecting the sliding member and the treatment object holding arms such that the holding position of the treatment object is held in the more side direction than the guide rail by the treatment object holding means, wherein the pair of treatment object holding arms are inserted into holed formed in the connecting member and slid with each other in a state that the pair of treatment object holding arms are overlapped with each other, and the pair of treatment object holding arms and the connecting member are made of different metallic materials.
