CONTROLLER FOR DRIVING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for a driving device capable of controlling an oil level position of lubricating oil in a storage chamber for storing a rotary electric motor and a power transmission mechanism to the optimum oil level position in accordance with an operation condition of the driving device.

SOLUTION: This driving device 5 is provided with an upper part storage chamber 74 provided above the rotary electric motor MG2 to store lubricating oil to be supplied into the rotary electric motor MG2 and a flow rate adjusting means (an electric pump 80) for adjusting flow rate of lubricating oil pumped up from a storage chamber 72 into the upper part storage chamber 74. This controller 60 controls the electric pump 80 in such a way that an oil level position of lubricating oil in the storage chamber is changed in accordance with an operation condition of the driving device 5. This controller 60 controls the electric pump 80 in accordance with an operation condition of the driving device 5 including rotational speed of a rotor 32 of the rotary electric motor and a gear of the power transmission mechanism and temperature of lubricating oil in the storage chamber 72 to change an oil level position of lubricating oil in the storage chamber 72 to the optimum oil level position.
