<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently and inexpensively collecting indium from an indium-containing solution with a high collecting rate. <P>SOLUTION: This method for collecting indium comprises the steps of: adjusting the pH of a solution which contains indium and at least one impurity element among Zn, Al and Fe, to 1 or higher; adding a very small amount of a copper compound into the indium-containing solution to make copper ions exist in the solution while keeping the temperature of the indium-containing solution at 60°C or lower and preferably 30°C or lower; adding a zinc powder (Zn powder) to cause a substitution reaction; and separating indium of the solid from the liquid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
