EQUIPMENT MONITORING AND CONTROL SYSTEM, METHOD, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform preparation before going to a work site by acquiring fault information even without going to the work site, and speedily determining to take measures against a fault, when the fault occurs in equipment installed at a remote site.

SOLUTION: An equipment monitoring and control device comprises: monitor equipment such as a camera/microphone for monitoring the states of equipment; a means for detecting the fault in the monitor equipment and notifying a predetermined place of the fault; a means for monitoring the monitor equipment in a predetermined cycle and recording equipment data of image or sound at that time; a means for storing the recorded equipment data during a predetermined period as fault equipment data when the fault is detected; and a means for transmitting the stored fault equipment data to a destination in response to a request, and a client terminal comprises: a means for requesting the transmission of the fault equipment data stored by the equipment monitoring and control device; and a means for displaying the content of the acquired fault equipment data. The disclosed system are configured to connect the equipment monitoring and control device and the client terminal via a communication network.
