PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating current adjusting device that can automatically adjust the operating current of a voltage-controlled oscillator, and improve the phase-noise characteristics. SOLUTION: The operating current adjusting device 100 comprises the voltage-controlled oscillator 1; a voltage generator 14 for outputting an oscillation frequency control voltage; a frequency detector 15 for measuring the oscillation frequency of an oscillation signal; and a control unit 16 for allowing the voltage generator 14 to output a voltage setting signal Svset for controlling the oscillation frequency control voltage Vcont, and allowing a supply circuit 5 to output an operating current control signal Scont for controlling an operating current Icc, based on the oscillation frequency measured by the frequency detector 15.
