<p>A bisected mold for tire molding that attains manufacturing of high-performance tires, and that at the time of mold die tightening, avoids tire pinching to thereby attain a yield enhancement; and a process for manufacturing a tire. Inside a container bisected into superior and inferior parts in the state of die opening, there are disposed a mold for tire molding and, along superior and inferior side plates, an unvulcanized tire. While, with the use of a driving device and slide unit means, making die tightening from that condition of segments and sectors resulting from multi-division in the circumferential direction of the unvulcanized tire, vulcanization molding of the unvulcanized tire is carried out. Thereafter, while continuing the die tightening of the mold for tire molding and segments by the driving device and slide unit means, die opening of the sectors only is carried out by driving means, followed by die opening of the mold for tire molding and segments. Thus, the vulcanization-molded tire is taken out.</p> |
