<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of storing contents recorded by a PC to an HDD recorder by operating the PC and the HDD recorder in cooperation with each other without the need for the specification change of the HDD recorder. <P>SOLUTION: The PC is provided with an RF transmission means, generates a pseudo electronic program guide and transmits the pseudo electronic program guide to the HDD recorder via the RF transmission means to control the operation of the HDD recorder.
