PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-reliability capacitor device, capable of continuing operation for an abnormal state occurring in the capacitor device by performing backup of system configuration. SOLUTION: A control circuit 9 in charge of charging/discharging and at least two master units 10a, 10b are connected by an external transmission system wiring 25. When any one of the master units 10a, 10b becomes abnormal, the master unit is separated from the external transmission system wiring 25. As a result, even if any one of the master units 10a, 10b becomes abnormal, since the other master unit 10a or 10b can continue operation, without being influenced by this abnormality, high-reliability capacitor device is attained.
