PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change an informing means in a pager service into the other informing means by a method with a little influence to existing environment by utilizing an environment of the existing pager service. SOLUTION: A bell code (a code to be transmitted from an existing pager service via a public line) to be transmitted from an existing pager service via a public line is received, and received bell code is changed to a character code after being analyzed, then a message based on the changed character code is extended (transmitted) to a destination responding to a line number from which the bell code is arrived by a method except for the pager service. The method except for the pager service means, such as for example, an electric mail, a telephone voice, a FAX, an indicator, a lightning indicating device, or a method of using a screen of the other computer terminal.
